tons of fun youth events, outreach, another retreat?, and open bibles as we learn about God and His purpose for our lives.

Here is whats happening in December:

Wednesday December 3 - 6:30pm - Bible Study - Youth House

Friday December 5 - 7pm - Parents Night Out - Church Basement

(this is a practical way to be Jesus to kids in our community. We believe at Ignite that we need to serve our community and that Jesus calls us to serve! We are excited as students to serve by taking care of kids in our church and our community while their parent's get a night out! We will be hanging out in the youth house afterward, xbox, food and board games)

Sunday December 7 - 9:30am - 4:12 electives - Youth House - Church is at 10:45am

Wednesday December 10 - 6:30pm - Bible Study - Youth House

Thursday December 11 - 10:50am - FREE FOOD DAY FOR EDSS STUDENTS - Youth House!

Friday December 12 - 7pm - Mall Hunt - Meet at the Youth House 

(this is an event you do not want to miss!! it is kind of like "wheres waldo" game. You will be finding different youth leaders in Conestoga Mall packed with people shopping for Christmas. It is an absolute blast and we are stoked for this big event! Invite friends and spread the word now!!!)

Sunday December 14 - 9:30am - 4:12 electives - Youth House -  Church is at 10:45am

Wednesday December 17 - Christmas Carolling around our community with our church family! 

Friday December 19 - IGNITE CHRISTMAS PARTY! Come at 6pm for a full Christmas Dinner. We will eat tons of food, and thank Jesus for the work He's done with our student ministries this year - and prepare for the 2015! We know God is going to big things this coming year.
Cost $5 - anyone is welcome - but we will need to know numbers before to have enough food.

& that wraps up the fall term for IGNITE Student Ministries!

We will resume all of our programs in the New Year. Can you believe 2014 is almost over?

** Our IGNITE CAFE is always open every Tuesday and Thursday for high school students to come hang out. We offer free drinks and a place to hang out over lunch hour. Invite anyone and everyone - we want this place packed!

** For high school students there is a New Years Party @ Woodside for anyone in the community to attend. Cost is $10 and it will be an unreal night. If you are in high school and looking for somewhere to go, please talk to Mark & Maddie to get your tickets:) We will be there!

our first ever IGNITE retreat

i told myself so many times to take a lot of pics throughout the retreat… like normal that didn't happen. i have zero ones of us tobogganing at night or lighting sparklers but i did snap a few.

it was an unreal weekend. we are so thankful for you, and for what God is doing in your lives. we are proud of you for writing your own iamsecond video and look forward to watching them soon!

Friday November 21- Sunday November 23 IGNITE RETREAT AT CBC! 

Here is all the info you need to know:

Drop off @ 6pm on Friday night. Pick up at 12:30 (after church) on Sunday afternoon.

Packing List

 - SNOW STUFF!! Can you believe we will have SNOW!

- Warm clothes (we may have a campfire outside in the snow) + camp is just cold

- Slippers/inside shoes

- Bedding (sleeping bag or sheets and blankets + pillow)

- Shower supplies (towel, shampoo, soap etc)

- Clothes that could get dirty/ outdoor clothes, snow pants etc.

- Snacks (although snacks will be provided)

- Bible and notebook… PLEASE don't forget your bible!

- Any board games/ipod etc that you'd like (we have the entire camp to ourselves)

7:00 – 8:30 - Big Camp Wide Game

8:30 – Snack (popcorn) + movie

11:00 – Lights Out

11:00 – Pack and clean the camp

** if you are unable to make it to the retreat there will be no sunday school 4:12 electives on Sunday November 23 at 9:30am

Our free pasta lunch will happen on Thursday Nov 27

Also, the cafe is open every Tuesday and Thursday over your lunch hour. Come get out of high school for a bit and warm up with a latte and play some xbox

FRIDAY (Nov 14): PROGRESSIVE DINNER! Meet at the youth house at 6:15. We will leave for the first house by 6:30pm. Pick up is 9:40 at the church. Come hungry as we will be eating for those three hours. There is no cost. Please invite your friends!

Sunday November 16: 4:12 Elective ** Permission forms for the ignite retreat are due this morning (or let us know your situation)

Wednesday November 19: Bible Study at the youth house. 6:30-7:45pm
