our first ever IGNITE retreat

i told myself so many times to take a lot of pics throughout the retreat… like normal that didn't happen. i have zero ones of us tobogganing at night or lighting sparklers but i did snap a few.

it was an unreal weekend. we are so thankful for you, and for what God is doing in your lives. we are proud of you for writing your own iamsecond video and look forward to watching them soon!

Wednesday November 19 - Bible Study @6:30 in the youth house 

We are continuing to learn about Gods character and this week we will focus on our response to Him

Friday November 21- Sunday November 23 IGNITE RETREAT AT CBC! 

Here is all the info you need to know:

Drop off @ 6pm on Friday night. Pick up at 12:30 (after church) on Sunday afternoon.

Packing List

 - SNOW STUFF!! Can you believe we will have SNOW!

- Warm clothes (we may have a campfire outside in the snow) + camp is just cold

- Slippers/inside shoes

- Bedding (sleeping bag or sheets and blankets + pillow)

- Shower supplies (towel, shampoo, soap etc)

- Clothes that could get dirty/ outdoor clothes, snow pants etc.

- Snacks (although snacks will be provided)

- Bible and notebook… PLEASE don't forget your bible!

- Any board games/ipod etc that you'd like (we have the entire camp to ourselves)

8:00 – 9:15 – Session #1

9:30 - Snack

11:00 - Lights Out

Saturday

8:30 – Breakfast

9:15 – 10:30 – Session # 2

10:45 – Game/Activity

12:00 – Lunch

12:45 – 3:30 - Free time (film iamsecond video, craft, games)

3:30 – Session # 3

5:00 – Dinner + free time

7:00 – 8:30 - Big Camp Wide Game

8:30 – Snack (popcorn) + movie

11:00 – Lights Out

Sunday

9:00 – Breakfast

9:45 – Session # 4

11:00 – Pack and clean the camp

12:30 – Pick up

** if you are unable to make it to the retreat there will be no sunday school 4:12 electives on Sunday November 23 at 9:30am

Our free pasta lunch will happen on Thursday Nov 27

Also, the cafe is open every Tuesday and Thursday over your lunch hour. Come get out of high school for a bit and warm up with a latte and play some xbox

FRIDAY (Nov 14): PROGRESSIVE DINNER! Meet at the youth house at 6:15. We will leave for the first house by 6:30pm. Pick up is 9:40 at the church. Come hungry as we will be eating for those three hours. There is no cost. Please invite your friends!

Sunday November 16: 4:12 Elective ** Permission forms for the ignite retreat are due this morning (or let us know your situation)

Wednesday November 19: Bible Study at the youth house. 6:30-7:45pm

Tuesday & Thursday @ 10:50 - IGNITE CAFE is open for lunch if you are in high school. Come hang out in our new space. Bring your lunch and invite your friends.

Wednesday - THERE IS NO BIBLE STUDY THIS WEEK! Just so you know - the entire church takes the mid fall break.

Friday November 7 @ 7pm. Swimming at the Rec Center in Waterloo. 
Meet at the youth house with your bathing suit + towel.

Ignite Fall Retreat
